Any intervention/repair on the motorcycle will be done only on top of a waterproof tarpaulin of minimum dimensions 200x100cm; In the service area the organizer will make available to the competitors a container for collecting liquids (oil, brake fluid, clutch fluid, antifreeze etc.). Throwing these liquids at random or in places other than those designated is strictly prohibited; In the service area, motorcycle test rides are not allowed.

Competition numbers are assigned by the organizer in chronological order of registrations. Competition numbers cannot be changed during the competition.

It is prohibited to appear at the start of each day without the competition numbers given by the organizer stuck on the motorcycle.

It is prohibited for competitors to make competition numbers. In case of damage to the competition number, the competitor will request the organizer (competition secretary) to assign another copy of the competition number.

REFUELLING:

Refueling Locations:
The refueling stations will be clearly marked and designated.

Additional Information:
Further details on refueling procedures and station locations will be provided during the briefing.

Refueling Requirement:
It is mandatory to refuel with the engine turned off.

Smoking Policy:
Smoking is strictly prohibited at fueling points under any circumstances.

Fuel Provision by the Organizer:
The organizer will supply fuel to all competitors from the designated refueling stations, subject to the following conditions:

  • Day 1 – Prologue: Competitors are responsible for providing and paying for their own fuel.

  • Day 2 and Beyond: Each competitor must start the second day of the competition with a full fuel tank, at their own cost.

  • The organizer will provide fuel from the refueling points at no charge, with a maximum limit of 5 liters per competitor per day of competition (excluding the Prologue).

  • 2-Stroke Motorcycles: Competitors using 2-stroke motorcycles will receive pre-mixed fuel and oil from the refueling stations, with a mixing ratio of 1:50. The oil provided is Full Synthetic.

  • Fuel Type: The fuel provided by the organizer will be 95-octane gasoline.

CHECKPOINTS

Checkpoints (CPs) are mandatory control points along the route, clearly marked and well signaled. Each CP will be staffed by at least two officials (arbitrators). All competitors are required to pass through every CP and must stop at each one to be officially recorded by the arbitrators.

For safety reasons, it is essential that the organizers can track each competitor's location on the course. This is done by monitoring passage through each CP. Additionally, a physical witness marker will be used for each competitor at the CP—either a card that will be stamped by the arbitrators, colored ribbons attached to the handlebar, or another system (to be announced later).

Important Protocols:

  • Report any issues—such as injured competitors, route irregularities, or technical problems—to the arbitrators at the nearest CP immediately.

  • In serious cases, contact the Competition Director directly using one of the emergency phone numbers provided found on the sticker with the competition number. Share the injured person's approximate location, GPS coordinates (if available), and a description of the situation.

  • If there is no signal, pass the information to another competitor (do not leave the injured person alone) who can relay the message once signal is available. Signal is usually found in higher-altitude areas.

  • The time spent helping others will be deducted from your total race time, so competitors are expected to assist when needed.

  • All competitors must carry a charged mobile phone capable of making calls while on the route, as well as a functional flashlight.

If a competitor arrives at a CP after the official route closure, they are not allowed to continue and must return to the camp using the path indicated by the arbitrators or in their company. Ignoring this rule results in disqualification.

ABANDON

If a competitor decides to abandon the race, it is mandatory to notify the Competition Director as soon as possible—either by phone or in person. Failure to report abandonment may lead to unnecessary search and rescue operations, in which case the competitor will be held responsible for covering the associated costs.

DISPUTES

All disputes must be submitted in writing to the competition secretariat within 30 minutes of the provisional results being posted. Each dispute must be accompanied by the GPS recording of the route. A dispute fee of €100 (or the equivalent in RON) must be paid at the time of submission. This fee will be refunded only if the dispute is upheld.

TIME PENALTIES AND DISQUALIFICATIONS

Day 1 – Prologue

  • Competitors who fail to participate in the prologue will receive a 1-hour time penalty.

  • Qualified competitors who do not attend the prologue final will receive a 30-minute time penalty.

Day 2 – Checkpoint Infractions The following situations are considered checkpoint violations:

  • Failure to appear at a checkpoint.

  • Arriving at a checkpoint from an incorrect direction (not following the designated route) or from the course of a different class.

  • Leaving a checkpoint in the wrong direction or onto the route of another class.

Disqualification may be applied in the following cases:

  • Entering the race course before the official start.

  • Refueling with the engine running.

  • Smoking within the refueling zone.

Time Penalties:

  • 1-hour penalty for failing to stop at a checkpoint or any other control point when requested by an official.

  • 2-hour penalty for missing, bypassing, or avoiding a checkpoint or control point when instructed to stop by an official.

Competitors are required to display all promotional materials provided by the organizer on their motorcycles.

The competition route takes place entirely off public roads. However, on segments involving public roads—such as between the Base and the Start, from the Finish back to the Base, or on liaison sections between stages—participants must strictly follow the national traffic laws in force. Each competitor is fully responsible for their own conduct on these public road segments.

Competitors are also advised not to leave their personal belongings or equipment unattended. The organizer assumes no responsibility for the loss, damage, or theft of any personal items.

Participation in the competition is entirely at the competitor’s own risk. Each participant bears full civil and criminal responsibility for any damage caused to themselves, to others, or to any property.

PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILIT
CODE OF DISCIPLINE AND ARBITRATION

Possible sanctions are:

  • Warning;
